A Girls Best Friend

On July 25th was Shawn's Birthday! For his birthday he got a new coffee table to go with his new furniture:) He insisted on no cake but rather brownies, and we had steaks for dinner!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN!!

Since it was his birthday and all I decided to list 10 reasons why Shawn is my BEST FRIEND!

1. He loves to play with the littles and they love him! (I think Katelyn might even have a crush on him!)



2. He has a great sense of humor, and is always doing things just to make me laugh.

3. He always has my back. Even if I start talking big he steps up for me.

4. He makes goofy faces in all the pictures I take because he hates pictures. Yet he still does it for me.





5. He always knows just what to say to make my bad days better.

6. He is very handy around the house and when it comes to car repairs. (I think he is most attractive when he is being handy and fixing things!)



7. He has a SEXY CAR!! (That is afterall the only reason I agreed to go on a first date with him.)

8. When ever he sees or talks to Mom he always makes sure to start it off with, "Hey Baby"

9. He SPOILS me!




10. He is older and wiser than me.. HE IS ALMOST 30!! AN OLD MAN!! (He loves it when I remind him!)

The Real Reason..

I must confess.. The reason I moved to Boise has nothing to do with Shawn, new beginnings, or even cause I liked Boise.. The real reason is...



About a year ago Shawn ran the idea past me about moving to Boise with him if he ever got his job back. I thought long and hard and decided I couldn't ever ever live that far from my family. I don't like change. He tried to talk me into it over and over again.. I was firm in my NO.. That was until he promised me a NICE pair of sunglasses.. I CAVED.

I have never been able to have an expensive pair of sunglasses. Not because i couldn't afford them because I did waste a lot when I was younger (ask my mom).. I could not get them simply because of the littles. Expensive nice things and kids do not mix.. My dilemma was solved when the little filthy careless fingers would be hours away, and the glasses would be free to me!:)

Though these sunglasses cannot fully make up for the time I am missing with my family and the comfort of knowing my mom is only a 30 min drive away, I do look pretty dang good in them.. THANKS SHAWN!

Being far from my family i decided to start blogging again... As most of you know i recently moved to BOISE!! i love it here! There is always something going on downtown and the social life is amazing.. well so i have heard i haven't really made any friends yet.. Therefore i have plenty of time to blog:)

My favorite thing so far about my move is... THE HOUSE BEING CLEAN!! my last place i lived the roommates were not so clean to say the least, i was always cleaning up after them.. And let me tell you it got real old real quick! I still do most of the cleaning but Shawn is not a messy person so i am just fine with that. Everyone has been asking for pics of our new place so that is just what i am gonna do!!














I finally got to my strawberries before the squirrels did this time! i was so excited and it was delicious!! We just got the furniture (the love seat is still on its way!) Shawn is so proud of his furniture.. he is definitely a dork about it!
